I have been inundated with delightful pictures of the miniature horse foal, Einstein born last week. He is a mere six pounds and a slight fourteen inches tall. And mighty terribly, awfully cute.
Simone weighs three pounds more that this little guy. Great now I want a miniature horse, too. Well, I wanted one before Einstein, but his image has sealed the deal.
And then there were these sweet shots:
owned by Villa Vanners of Oregon .
These pictures were taken immediately after his birth on April 6. The mare laid down, and then he trotted around and crawled right up into her lap.
If that doesn't spike your blood sugar readings, you are one bitter pill.
I haven't been horsing around this week. The SpringArts show was hung yesterday. Finished Shock and Gnaw, Catalogued, There's Nothing to Do Around Here and What's Bugging You? Just under the wire.
The opening is tomorrow, 5-7 at Laurelwood.
